What is the AUTEC KWS modular kit?
The KWS modular radio kit has been designed by AUTEC to provide safe and reliable wireless connections.
It features a simple procedure for assigning inputs and outputs.
In most installations, no programming is required. Thanks to its FHSS technology, the KWS is the ideal solution for reliable radio communications in industrial environments.
The system consists of a TWS (radio transmitter) and an RWS (radio receiver). Each TWS or RWS includes at least one central processing unit (CPU module), a power supply module and some extension modules, if necessary, used to customise the interface according to the machine protocol.
The strengths of the AUTEC KWS modular kit
- Easy to set up: flexible, it requires no programming in most situations
- Versatile: availability of up to 42 digital controls, 6 analogue controls (0/4-20 mA or 0-10 V), fieldbus (CANopen, Profibus DP, PROFINET, EtherCAT® and EtherNet / IP™)
- Modular: great scope for expansion thanks to its modular structure, enabling customisation of the electrical interfaces with the machine
- Safe: high level of safety up to PL d, cat. 3 (EN ISO 13849-1), as a stop or emergency stop function
