High-voltage electric drives
Considered the ‘brain’ of the electric drive train, the variable speed drive is designed to regulate the speed and torque of an AC (alternating current) motor by varying the voltage and frequency. Variable speed drives are distinguished by their voltage: they can be low voltage or high voltage.
Thanks to its partnership with Borgwarner, efa offers a range of high-voltage drives for AC synchronous motors. The range comprises 4 drives:
Gen4 HVLP
Gen4-S8
Gen4-S10
Gen 5-S9
This high-voltage product family ranges from 120V to 800V on AC motors with power ratings from 10 kW to 300 kW.
What’s more, the drives feature the latest vehicle control algorithms: Borgwarner products offer you their ‘Intelligent Control Inside’ algorithm. Programming the drive is simple and allows you to control many parameters.
These drives have a wide range of applications: forklift trucks, site cranes, dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, etc.
